Historic first ! SolarStratros and « bird woman » Géraldine Fasnacht achieve first ever wingsuit jump from an electric and solar aircraft

Raphaël Domjan, pilot and founder of SolarStratos, and Géraldine Fasnacht, professional extreme sportswoman, achieved a multitude of world firsts on Saturday 18 June to the delight of the crowds gathered in Verbier, Switzerland. Among them, the first ever wingsuit jump from a solar aircraft!

Géraldine Fasnacht explained “Being able to fly over my favourite playground using solar power only was a magical moment! Having the chance to realise a dream with SolarStratos makes me happy and allows me to see that exploration is unique and remains the best way to demonstrate that it is possible! “
